What is Premiere?
Premiere is a swipe-and-decide film app. Swipe right to add a film to your watchlist, left to dismiss it. When you can’t decide what to watch, run a Standoff — a quick elimination tournament over your own watchlist — and let the bracket pick tonight’s film. Watched films land in your History with your rating. Films can be organized into stacks — little themed piles on your Watchlist — and a stack can be shared with friends.
Getting started
On first launch, pick a seed list (Top Rated, Popular, Critically Acclaimed…) and Premiere downloads it into your local library. After that the app works offline for everything except search, list imports, refilling a filtered deck, and shared stacks (sharing, joining, and edits to a shared stack need a connection).
Stacks and sharing

Making a stack. On the Watchlist, tap New stack on the STACKS shelf, or use “Add to stack” on any saved film. A stack can hold any films from your library, and you can run a Standoff over just that stack.

Sharing a stack. Open the stack and tap Share. You choose what the invite grants: Build together (everyone adds and removes films) or View only (you curate, they watch it evolve). Send the invite code or let them scan the QR.

Joining a stack. Tap Join on the Watchlist’s STACKS shelf, type the code and a name, and the stack lands right there on your shelf, films and all.

Leaving one. Open the stack and tap Remove — it’s a “remove for me”: everyone else keeps the stack, and when the last person leaves, it’s deleted from the sharing service.

What do the others see? The stack’s films and your display name. Never your ratings, watch history, or anything else — your watched marks on a shared stack are yours alone.
Common questions
•
I swiped a film away by mistake. Tap the undo arrow in the Swipe header right after the swipe. Older skips: Me → Skipped films → Return to deck.

A genre filter shows few films. The deck fetches more matching films from TMDB when it runs dry (“Finding more films…”). If you use the strict “Main genre” setting (Me → Genre filter), decks are intentionally tighter.

I want to start fresh. Me → Start over clears your swipes, watchlist, and history. Your film library stays, so the deck refills instantly.

Where is my data? On your device. There is no account, and nothing is stored on a server unless you share or join a stack — and then only the shared stack and your display name (see the privacy policy). Deleting the app deletes your local data.

Updates. Premiere updates itself over the air: an update downloads when you open the app and applies the next time you open it. The version you’re running is shown in Me → About.
